Circumferential lower body lift

Procedure Details

Significant weight loss can result in excess skin. Excess skin in the abdominal and leg regions is often most completely corrected with the a circumferential body lift procedure (lower body lift). Abdominoplasty alone can't correct the posterior and lateral thigh vertical skin excess which the circumferential body lift procedure addresses. Thighplasty will still be needed, however the thigh deformity will not be as dramatic after the circumferential body lift. This is a 60-year-old female who is bothered by her abdomen, hips, buttock regions. There is excess skin and central abdominal fullness (most likely diastasis). This patient has lost a lot of weight and is interested in body contouring procedures to correct the deformities of the abdomen, lower back, and thighs.
