Juvederm Vollure as an ear lobule filler

This patient was looking for a correction of lost volume to her ear lobules. She was bothered by people telling her that her earrings were going to ‘fall out’. She has lost soft tissue volume in the lobules, which would normally support the earring post. Without the soft tissue to support the post, the earring hangs lower, creating the illusion that the ear ring would fall out, by hanging down. Juvederm Vollure was injected in the mid-tissues of the ear lobule to support the earring posts. Juvederm Vollure is a hyaluronic acid filler made by Allergan. This is an office-based procedure without topical numbing needed during the procedure.
