Circumferential lower body lift (lower body lift)

This is a 46-year-old female who is bothered by her abdomen, flanks and thighs with skin laxity. She had a gastric sleeve procedure and went from 265lbs to 138lbs over the last several years and now has excess skin causing deformity in these regions. Her main area of concern is the thighs, buttock and a minor amount the lower abdomen. Significant weight loss can result in excess skin, after bariatric surgery. Excess skin in the abdominal and leg regions is often most completely corrected with a circumferential body lift procedure (lower body lift). Abdominoplasty alone can't correct the posterior and lateral thigh vertical skin excess which the circumferential body lift procedure addresses. Thighplasty will still be needed, however the thigh deformity will not be as dramatic after the circumferential body lift.
