Circumferential Body Lift

This patient was bothered by her abdomen and thighs with skin laxity. She experienced significant weight loss over the last several years. Diet and exercise alone could not correct the excess skin causing sagging in these regions. Her main area of concern was her thighs, lower back, and abdomen. To remove the excess skin, the patient underwent a circumferential lower body lift. Significant weight loss can result in excess skin in the abdominal and leg regions, which is often most completely corrected with a circumferential body lift procedure (lower body lift). Abdominoplasty alone can't correct the posterior and lateral thigh vertical skin excess which the circumferential body lift procedure addresses. Thighplasty will still be needed.
