Circumferential Body Lift

This is a 52 year old female from the greater Harrisburg area who presents to discuss the idea of making her gluteal region more full. She is asking if there is a way to augment the gluteal region. She is also bothered by her abdomen, flanks and thighs with skin laxity. She has lost a significant amount of weight over the last several years and now has excess skin causing deformity in these regions. Significant weight loss can result in excess skin, after bariatric surgery. Excess skin in the abdominal and leg regions is often most completely corrected with a circumferential body lift procedure (lower body lift). Abdominoplasty alone can't correct the posterior and lateral thigh vertical skin excess which the circumferential body lift procedure addresses. Thighplasty will still be needed, however the thigh deformity will not be as dramatic after the circumferential body lift.
