Mommy Makeover

Mommy makeover is a term used to describe a combination of 2 or more surgical procedures to restore the shape and appearance of a woman's body after childbearing. Most commonly the procedures are breasts and abdomen, but could also include genitalia and buttocks. A mommy makeover can be performed as a single stage procedure; this often requires the surgery be done at a hospital due to it being over 4 hrs (as opposed to a surgery center). Many women choose to perform the breast procedure on a Friday and then to have the abdomen procedure on a Monday, both done at a surgery center, which often costs less vs one procedure at a hospital. The breast procedure might be breast augmentation (with implants), a breast lift, or a breast reduction. The abdomen procedure is usually a tummy tuck or liposuction. The purpose of both surgeries close together is to allow for one recovery and limit time off from work. This is a 41 year old female who presented with abdomen excess skin. She desired to return her to pre-pregnancy figure; abdominoplasty was the ideal procedure. She also would like a breast procedure to lift her breasts and make them more full. She started with a 34A cup and wanted to be 2 cup sizes larger.
