This patient is a very pleasant 40 year old female with large breasts (macromastia ). She had large breasts since having her children. She has suffered significant disability to include breast pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, grooving in her shoulders, headaches and intertrigo for many years. She worn a 40DD size bra. Functionally was unable to exercise secondary to the large size of her breasts.  She underwent a medial pedicle bilateral breast reduction with the removal of 600g (1.25 lbs) per breast. Her symptoms resolved within 2 weeks.
