Lower Blepharoplasty (lower eyelid surgery)

Eyelid surgery or a blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the upper lids, lower lids or both. Bags and wrinkles on the lower eyelid can be treated with a lower eyelid blepharoplasty. Fat in the lower eyelid can be repositioned or removed to help contour the lower eyelid into the cheek. Excess skin can be removed at the same time. This is Harrisburg area patient is a 42 year old female who is bothered by the contour of her lower eyelids. She notes a depression seen on her lower eyelids from certain view points (mostly photos, when she is looking in certain directions).
