Many patients desiring breast augmentation report having wanted breast augmentation for many years; sometimes their whole lives. The procedure is typically performed at an outpatient surgery center. Most patients have the surgery on a Friday and are back to work on the following Wednesday (6 days off). Exercise is limited for 4 weeks and swimming is limited to 6 weeks after the procedure.
